Can creatine cause diabetes?

I've recently started using creatine to boost my workouts, as recommended by my gym trainer. However, my cousin told me it might be bad for health and even cause diabetes. My dad has diabetes, so I'm quite concerned if this is true.

Honestly, I have been managing thyroid issues for five years and the first thing I learnt is to get regular blood tests done. Creatine doesn't directly cause diabetes, but any big change in diet or supplements can affect your body's metabolism. It's always best to ask your doctor to add regular HbA1c and fasting sugar tests to your routine just to be safe.

Hey, don't worry. There is actually no solid evidence showing creatine causes diabetes; it's one of the most researched supplements out there. Just make sure you are drinking enough water and buying a genuine brand to avoid any unnecessary load on your system. If you already have prediabetes or a family history, definitely check in with your doc before starting.

Haan na, starting new gym supplements always makes us think ten times about side effects. But as far as I know, creatine and diabetes ka direct connection nahi hai. Relax karo, bas excess sugar supplements avoid karna and keep your workouts consistent.

I've been tracking my blood glucose and fitness metrics on my HealthifyMe app for a year while using creatine monohydrate. I haven't seen any weird spikes or negative changes at all. Actually, some studies on my feed suggest it might even help with muscle glucose uptake, but keep tracking your daily levels if you're concerned.

My son started gymming and taking creatine last year, and as a mother, I panicked thinking it would cause diabetes or kidney issues. We went to our family doctor who explained that it is quite safe if taken in the right dosage. Just ensure you don't overdo the daily scoop and keep an eye on your overall health.

I totally get your fear, I used to lose sleep searching Google about every single supplement and its connection to major diseases. It's completely normal to feel anxious about this. Fortunately, creatine is heavily researched and not linked to causing diabetes, but discussing it with a doctor might help calm your mind.
