Can covid cause lung cancer?

After my severe Covid pneumonia, my lungs have felt weaker, and I keep hearing scary stories online. I'm already a bit worried about my general health. I wanted to ask if there's any scientific evidence suggesting that a Covid infection could potentially lead to lung cancer later in life.

Nahi yaar, Covid directly lung cancer toh nahi cause karta. Lung cancer genetic, smoking, ya environment se hota hai, par haan, Covid se lung tissue me damage jarur ho sakta hai. Dr. se checkup karwa lo clarify karne ke liye, okay na?

Haan na, people get so scared. Covid causes inflammation and lung scarring but it is not a direct cause of cancer. But if you have a persistent cough, it's always better to show a chest doctor, ho na.

There is no scientific proof that Covid causes lung cancer. However, Covid can cause lingering lung inflammation or scarring, which might show up on chest X-rays. It's always best to get checked by a pulmonologist to ease your mind.

I understand your fear, but please don't jump to such scary conclusions. Covid leaves the lungs weak, which causes coughing. Try regular steam with a drop of eucalyptus oil and drink warm water, but do consult a specialist for peace of mind.

Do not trust WhatsApp rumors linking Covid to lung cancer. Cancer is a highly complex genetic mutation disease. Speak to a qualified oncologist or pulmonologist to understand lung health instead of reading random online articles.

Beta, there is no need to worry about cancer from Covid. The virus only causes temporary or long-term damage like breathing issues, which get better with proper care and breathing exercises under a doctor's guidance.

Covid won't cause cancer, but it can leave you with severe fibrosis or long-term breathing difficulty. My lung recovery took six months and required strict monitoring. Please see a pulmonologist for a CT scan if you have severe chest pain.
