Bro, yes! Once I had roadside sweet corn masala and vomited the entire night. If it is not cooked properly or is stale, it can easily mess up your stomach. Better to stick to home-cooked corn and make sure it is boiled well.

Corn is very high in cellulose fiber, which our digestive system can find hard to break down if we eat too much of it or don't chew it properly. This heavy digestion can sometimes trigger nausea or vomiting, especially if you have a sensitive stomach. Just keep the portions moderate.

Oh god, did this happen to you recently? I also felt extremely nauseous and threw up after eating corn soup last week, and I thought I was the only one. Is anyone else highly sensitive to corn, or could it be food poisoning?

Corn itself is clean and healthy, but it goes bad very quickly in humid weather. Contamination by bacteria or fungus on raw corn is usually what causes vomiting and stomach upsets. Always wash it thoroughly and eat it fresh and hot.

Yes, if the corn is stale or undercooked, it can definitely cause severe indigestion and vomiting.
