Can constipation cause pain in the ovaries?

Periods ke aas paas mujhe constipation ho jaata hai aur us waqt mere ovaries ke area mein bahut dard hota hai. Kya constipation ki wajah se ovarian region mein pain ho sakta hai?

I am feeling this exact same pain on my lower side and I'm so worried! Can a full bowel really push against the ovaries and cause this ache, or could it be something worse? Has anyone else felt this?

An ultrasound to check the ovaries can cost quite a bit. It is practical to try clearing the constipation first with high-fiber food and lots of water. If the pain still stays, then plan for the scan budget accordingly.

My sister had this exact issue last month. She thought it was an ovarian cyst, but the doc said it was just severe pelvic pressure from constipation. She took some fiber syrup and was totally fine in two days.

The pelvic cavity is quite compact, so a loaded bowel can certainly cause referred pain in the ovarian region. Doing gentle pelvic stretches and deep pranayama can help release this pressure naturally. Please do not strain.

Haan na, stomach issues can make the whole pelvic area hurt so badly. The rectum is right behind the uterus and ovaries, so the pressure can feel like ovary pain. Try taking warm water and see if it helps, ho na.
