Can constipation cause high fever?

Mere bete ko pichle teen din se motion nahi hua hai, aur ab usko tez bukhar bhi aa gaya hai. Kya constipation itna severe ho sakta hai ki high fever bhi ho jaaye?

I literally just recovered from a severe stomach infection last week. Constipation itself didn't cause my high fever, but the underlying gut infection did. Please don't ignore a high fever, go to a clinic immediately.

With my diabetes, I have to be very careful. A high fever is usually a sign of an infection in the body, not just constipation. Please monitor your blood sugar and get a doctor's opinion instead of trying sweet syrups or home remedies.

A high fever is a serious red flag. I always consult the specialists at Kokilaben Hospital for such symptoms. You must ask your doctor clearly to find the root cause, as constipation alone shouldn't cause a high spike in temperature.

My son had severe constipation and then suddenly developed a high fever, which turned out to be a stomach flu. Please consult a pediatrician or general physician right away. Do not wait to see if it goes away on its own.

Stay calm and positive, your body is trying to tell you something. A high fever is generally the body's response to an infection, not simple constipation. Take rest, drink warm water, and let a medical expert examine you.

As someone with thyroid issues, my digestion gets slow, but a high fever is completely different. It suggests an underlying infection or inflammation. I highly recommend regular blood tests and a doctor's follow-up to find the cause.

Constipation is a gastrointestinal symptom, while a high fever indicates an active immune response, likely due to an infection. Self-diagnosing this is not safe. A doctor's professional advice is absolutely essential here.

My doctor explained to me that simple constipation never causes a high fever. If you have both, it could indicate something like appendicitis, a kidney infection, or gastroenteritis. Please visit a doctor immediately for a proper diagnosis.

I was looking this up recently because my cousin had both. It turns out constipation itself won't cause a high fever, but things like bowel obstruction or an infection definitely will. It's best to get it checked out.

I can't give medical advice, but in my own experience, when I had constipation along with a high fever, it was actually due to severe food poisoning. I had to go to the clinic to get antibiotics.
