Beta, constipation directly does not cause a heart attack. However, straining too much in the bathroom puts a lot of pressure on your heart, which can be risky for people who already have heart issues. Eat fiber and keep your stomach clean.

Directly? No way. But honestly, all that spicy street food and maida that causes bad constipation isn't doing our heart any favors either! Balance those samosas with some papaya and water, guys.

At my age, we worry about these things a lot. Constipation itself won't give you a heart attack, but putting extreme pressure while passing stool is bad for your blood pressure. Do not strain, take a mild laxative if needed.

My grandmother used to say that a clear stomach keeps the whole body healthy, which is very true. Straining from constipation can stress your blood vessels, but it won't directly cause a heart attack. Please speak to a doctor to ease your mind.

No, constipation does not directly cause a heart attack. However, severe straining is not good for heart patients, so keep your bowel movements smooth.

I completely understand why you are asking this, health anxiety can make us imagine the absolute worst scenario. Constipation doesn't cause heart attacks, but the panic and chest gas can feel like one. Take a deep breath, you are going to be okay.
