Can coke zero cause diabetes?

My husband switched to Coke Zero a few months ago, thinking it's a healthier option than regular coke. But now he's heard some people say that even artificial sweeteners can be bad. Can coke zero actually cause diabetes in the long run?

Coke zero doesn't have real sugar, so it won't raise your blood glucose directly, but artificial sweeteners might still affect insulin sensitivity over time. If your doctor allows, focusing on a 30-minute daily walk is a much better way to manage your insulin naturally. Try to stick to water or unsweetened green tea.

As someone who has been tracking my blood sugar closely, Coke Zero doesn't cause spike issues immediately. However, relying on it daily can mess with your gut health and insulin response. Use it occasionally as a treat, but don't replace your daily water intake with it.

My teenager wanted to switch to Coke Zero thinking it is healthy, but we discussed how artificial sweeteners can still trigger sweet cravings. It is better not to get used to these drinks daily. Encourage them to drink fresh coconut water or home-made lemon juice instead.

Keep your mind positive and treat your body like a temple, dear. These artificial drinks are not pure for our system and can disturb our body's balance. Drink simple, natural fluids and take care of your health with peace.

I agree with others here. While Coke Zero won't directly cause diabetes, drinking too much processed soda is never good, so try replacing it with plain water.

I used to drink Coke Zero a lot during college thinking it was a free pass to avoid calories. But actually, I realized it made me crave real sweets even more later in the day. It might not cause diabetes directly, but it definitely doesn't help with building healthy habits.

Bhai, even if it says zero sugar, these are all chemicals made in factories. It is always better to drink fresh buttermilk or plain water instead of these modern drinks. Your body will thank you for staying away from artificial things.

It doesn't have sugar, but artificial sweeteners can still affect your metabolism if you drink them regularly.
