Can coffee cause abdominal pain?

Almost every morning after I drink my coffee, I get a dull ache or discomfort in my stomach area. Is it possible that coffee can cause abdominal pain?

Hey buddy, don't stress too much! Coffee is highly acidic, so drinking it on an empty stomach can easily irritate your stomach lining and cause cramps. Just try having a biscuit or toast before your cup next time.

I used to ignore my abdominal pain, thinking it was just a regular reaction to my morning coffee, but it turned out to be severe gallstones. Please don't assume it is just the coffee. If the pain is sharp or persistent, go get a proper ultrasound and checkup.

I always worry when my stomach hurts after coffee. Could it be an ulcer or severe gastritis? It is so scary to feel that sharp pain. Maybe you should avoid coffee for a few days and track if the pain goes away, just to be safe.

Yes, caffeine triggers acid production which can lead to abdominal cramps. If you are busy, just switch to cold brew as it is much less acidic on the stomach, or keep antacids handy. If it keeps happening, see a doctor to check for gastritis.

Haan yaar, bilkul ho sakti hai acidity aur pet me dard. Empty stomach black coffee piyoge toh problem hogi hi na. Thoda milk add karo ya phir khane ke baad piyo, thoda relief milega.
