Can cod liver oil help constipation?

I've been dealing with chronic constipation for a while now, and it's quite uncomfortable. My neighbor told me that cod liver oil might help. Is it true that cod liver oil can help with constipation?

I totally get it, dealing with constipation is so uncomfortable and frustrating. Cod liver oil can sometimes act as a natural lubricant for your intestines, helping things move. Just go easy on the dose so you don't end up with an upset stomach.

Yes, it can help because oils naturally lubricate the digestive tract. However, it is not a long-term solution for chronic constipation. You are better off increasing your fiber intake and daily hydration.

My grandmother used to say that any good oil helps clear the bowels, and cod liver oil does have a mild laxative effect. However, my doctor advised that we shouldn't rely on supplements for bowel issues. It is best to consult your doctor for a proper plan.

While cod liver oil might ease constipation due to its fat content, keep in mind it is non-vegetarian. If you prefer vegetarian options, simple flaxseed oil or warm water with a spoonful of organic ghee at night works wonders without any heavy supplements.

Haan, bilkul help karta hai kyunki oil se digestion thoda smooth ho jata hai. Par isko regular laxative ki tarah mat use karna, na? Paani khoob piyo aur normal dahi-khichdi khao, usse zyada relief milega.

Haan na, oil supplements do help to clear the stomach smoothly. But daily cod liver oil for constipation might be too much. It is better to eat more fiber and green veggies, ho na.
