Can coconut oil help cavities?

My wife keeps telling me to try coconut oil for my teeth, especially since I have a small cavity. She says it helps. Is there any truth to coconut oil being beneficial for cavities?

I manage my diabetes strictly and know that high sugar leads to dental decay. While oil pulling with coconut oil helps clean the mouth and reduce bacteria, it cannot heal an actual cavity. Only a dentist can clean and fill it properly.

Let's be realistic, coconut oil won't reverse tooth decay. Oil pulling can prevent future plaque buildup, but if you have a cavity, trying to cure it at home will only delay proper treatment and cost you more time and pain later. Book a dentist appointment.

Honestly, I tried oil pulling with coconut oil because of some viral reels, but my tooth still kept hurting. Finally went to the dentist and got a filling done in 15 minutes. Save your time and just get it filled, guys.

I know how stressful dental pain is, it used to make me so anxious and kept me awake at night. Coconut oil can soothe the gums slightly, but it won't fix the hole in the tooth. Please don't suffer in silence and see a dentist soon.

Hey, don't stress too much! Coconut oil is awesome for general oral hygiene, but it won't magically repair a cavity. Just make a quick dentist visit and get it sorted out so you can eat peacefully again.
