Can cockroaches kill you in your sleep?

Last night I saw a huge cockroach in my bedroom, and it gave me the creeps! It made me think about all those stories. Is it possible for cockroaches to actually kill someone in their sleep?

Hey, don't worry at all. Cockroaches cannot kill you in your sleep, they don't attack humans like that. They are just annoying pests. Just keep your room clean and use a pest control spray to sleep peacefully.

They won't kill you, but they can carry harmful bacteria and trigger severe asthma or allergic reactions. I once got a bad skin allergy from pests in my old apartment. If you have any breathing issues or severe rashes, please see a doctor.

Nahi re beta, aisa kuch nahi hota. Cockroach se darna nahi chahiye, woh bas gandagi mein aate hain. Apne kamre ko saaf rakho aur sone se pehle thoda neem ka tel ya laxman rekha laga do, sab theek rahega.

Oh god, I have this exact same fear and overthink it every time I see one in my room! They don't actually bite or kill us, but the thought of them crawling near my ears makes me so anxious. Deep cleaning the room really helps calm the mind.

My mother always said that keeping a neat kitchen keeps cockroaches away, as they only seek food. They cannot kill you, but they do spread food poisoning bacteria. If you ever fall sick with food infection, do consult a doctor.
