Can chlamydia cause vomiting and diarrhea?

My friend has been feeling very sick lately, with vomiting and diarrhea, and she just tested positive for chlamydia. Can chlamydia cause these kinds of digestive symptoms?

Haan na, normally toh chlamydia ke symptoms alag hote hain, pelvic area mein. But agar pelvic inflammatory disease ho jaye, toh nausea aur vomiting ho sakti hai. Aap please self-treat mat karo, doc ko dikha lo.

Usually, chlamydia doesn't cause stomach issues, but if the infection has spread or if you are reacting to some medicines, it can happen. For your own safety, please get it checked by a proper medical professional as soon as possible.

When I had it, the antibiotic treatment actually caused me severe nausea and diarrhea. If you've already started meds, that could be the reason. Talk to your gynecologist, they might give you an antacid or change the prescription.

I understand this is very uncomfortable. While chlamydia itself rarely causes vomiting, severe infections can make you feel weak. For the diarrhea, try drinking ORS or coconut water to stay hydrated, but do consult a doctor for the main infection.

Generally, chlamydia affects other areas and doesn't cause tummy trouble! 🌸 But if you have vomiting and diarrhea, it could be a stomach bug or reaction. Better to get a quick checkup done to feel better! ✨

Haan, waise toh yeh urinary tract ya pelvic issues karta hai, vomiting aur loose motions iske aam symptoms nahi hain na. Ho sakta hai koi aur infection ho ya food poisoning ho. Doctor se proper test karwana hi sahi rahega.
