Can chiropractors help migraine headaches?

I suffer from severe migraine headaches almost every week. My friend suggested I try seeing a chiropractor, as it helped her. Can chiropractors actually help in relieving migraine headaches?

Bro, my college exams give me crazy migraines and my roommate suggested a chiropractor. Honestly, I was too scared of the neck cracks, so I just stuck to staying hydrated and sleeping in a dark room. Maybe ask a proper doc first before trying it.

Please be very careful. I tried neck adjustments for my severe headaches and it actually triggered a terrible flare-up that lasted for a week. Migraines can have many triggers, so it is highly recommended to see a neurologist first rather than experimenting.

Some people claim it helps by relieving neck tension, but there's no solid medical proof that chiropractic cures migraines. Honestly, most chronic headache cases need lifestyle tweaks and proper medical treatment, not aggressive physical adjustments.

In my experience, migraines are often triggered by dehydration, poor posture, or lack of sleep rather than spine alignment. Before going to a chiropractor, try fixing your sleep cycle, drink enough water, and do some basic neck mobility exercises.

Hey, dealing with migraines is the worst, but don't stress too much. While some say spinal alignment helps with tension headaches, it might not do much for neurological migraines. Try simple relaxation techniques first and see if that gives you some relief.

I have seen many people in this forum ask about this. Chiropractic might help if your migraine is triggered by neck stiffness, but it's not a direct cure. It is always safer to combine a balanced diet, proper sleep, and a consultation with a specialist.
