Can chiropractic cause a stroke?

My friend went for a chiropractic adjustment for his neck pain and afterwards, he felt very dizzy. He got scared and is now asking if chiropractic treatment can actually cause a stroke.

I researched this heavily when looking for solutions for my neck pain. There is a rare risk associated with high-velocity neck adjustments, which can potentially cause an artery tear leading to a stroke. My neuro-physician strongly advised me to avoid sudden neck cracks and stick to gentle physical therapy instead.

Haan, maine bhi iske baare mein suna hai, kaafi dhyan rakhna padta hai. Neck adjustments mein thoda risk toh hota hi hai na. Agar karwana bhi hai, toh kisi bohot experienced doctor se hi salah lo, aise hi kisi ke paas mat chale jaana.

Honestly, with busy work hours, we look for quick fixes for neck pain. But severe neck manipulation has been linked to vertebral artery dissection, which can cause a stroke. Skip the quick adjustments, get an MRI if pain persists, and consult an orthopedic specialist.

Hamare yahan toh log purane tarike se tel maalish karwate hain. Yeh naye tarike ke chiropractic mein gardan ko jhatka dete hain, jisse sunne mein aaya hai ki bohot nuksan ho sakta hai. Aap seedhe acche hospital ke doctor ko dikhayein toh hi surakshit rahega.

It can be scary to read about these things online. While the risk of stroke from chiropractic treatment is rare, it is always safer to consult your regular physician before starting any alternative therapies for peace of mind.

I completely understand how stressful it is to read these warnings when you are already dealing with chronic pain. The anxiety of wanting relief but fearing a major complication like a stroke is very real. Take a deep breath and discuss these fears with a certified neurologist.

I was actually planning to visit a chiropractor for my upper back stiffness, but then I read about the stroke risks and got terrified. It is mostly related to heavy neck twists. I decided to stick to basic yoga stretches and a proper medical consultation instead.

I just finished a rehab program for severe neck strain. My therapist strictly warned me against getting my neck cracked violently because of the risk of blood vessel damage near the spine. Gentle physiotherapy and posture correction worked wonders for me without any risk.

Haan na, mujhe bhi yeh chiropractic videos dekhkar thoda dar lagta hai. Sudden adjustments se blood vessels block ho sakti hain aur stroke ka chance rehta hai. Isse accha doctor ki advice lekar safe physiotherapy karwayein, risk kyun lena.

From a clinical perspective, high-velocity neck cracking can occasionally tear the inner lining of the artery in your neck, which leads to clotting. While it's uncommon, it's a real risk. Go for a physical therapist who uses gradual, soft-tissue mobilization instead.
