Can chemo get rid of cancer in lymph nodes?

My mother has breast cancer that has spread to her lymph nodes. The doctor has recommended chemotherapy. I want to understand if chemo can completely get rid of cancer in the lymph nodes or just shrink it.

Yes, chemotherapy is systemic, meaning it travels through the blood and lymph fluid to target cancer cells in the lymph nodes. While undergoing treatment, try to do light, gentle walks daily if your oncologist allows it. It really helps with circulation and overall energy levels.

Listen, yes, chemo can definitely destroy cancer cells in the lymph nodes. That is exactly why doctors use systemic therapy. Don't stress too much and let the treatment do its job, but make sure you get regular PET scans as advised by the doctor.

I totally get it, hearing that cancer has reached the lymph nodes is incredibly frightening. But please know that chemo is designed to travel through the lymph channels specifically to target and destroy these cells. You are not alone in this fight.

I agree with others, chemotherapy is highly effective for lymph nodes because it circulates through the entire lymphatic system.

I know how scary it is to think about cancer spreading to lymph nodes, but yes, chemotherapy is highly effective at shrinking or completely clearing cancer there. I always suggest keeping a detailed log of your symptoms and discussing every step with your oncologist.

Whether chemo can fully clear lymph node cancer depends heavily on the type and stage of the cancer. Don't rely on random internet success stories to judge your case. Please verify the exact prognosis and treatment plan with your oncologist.

Yes, chemo absolutely can clear cancer in the lymph nodes because it goes everywhere in the body, unlike surgery which is local. My uncle had lymph node involvement and his chemo shrunk those tumors down completely. Stay strong, it really works!

Yes, chemo is systemic, so it targets lymph node cancer directly. To manage your schedule efficiently, get a clear timeline from your oncologist on when the scans will be done to check the progress of the shrinking nodes.

Yes, it absolutely can! Chemo is like a super-smart medicine that travels everywhere in the body, including the lymph nodes, to hunt down cancer cells. Keep your spirits high, you've got this! 👍

Chemo is designed to travel through the lymphatic system, so it is very effective at targeting cancer cells in the lymph nodes. During this intensive therapy, make sure to eat light, nutrient-dense home-cooked vegetarian meals to help your body cope with the treatment.

Yes, chemo can clear cancer in the lymph nodes, beta. While going through it, you can drink light warm water and eat fresh fruits to keep your strength up. But always remember to follow your doctor's instructions for all major symptoms.
