Can cavities heal?

I have a tiny cavity that doesn't hurt yet, and I'm really hoping to avoid a filling if possible. I've been brushing more carefully. Can cavities actually heal on their own if they are small?

To be honest, once a cavity actually forms a hole, it's pretty much permanent until you get a filling. I hoped mine would heal by cutting down on soft drinks, but no luck. Better to just visit a dentist and get it sorted quickly.

In my own experience, I had a very tiny white spot that my dentist said was early decay, and with a fluoride paste, it did not worsen. However, my deeper cavities never healed on their own and required proper fillings. Everyone's teeth are different, so a checkup is a good idea.

My toddler kept me up all night and my tooth is currently throbbing, so take it from me: cavities do not heal themselves. I wish they did, then I wouldn't have to face the scary dentist chair today. Save yourself the trouble and get it filled before you lose sleep over it.

If you have a busy work schedule like me, don't waste time waiting for a cavity to heal naturally because it won't. I delayed mine and ended up having to take half a day off for a painful root canal later. A quick 30-minute filling session now will save you a lot of hassle.

Let's be direct here: actual cavities cannot heal. Demineralization can be stopped in the early stages, but once there is a hole, you need a dentist to fill it. Do not fall for internet home remedies and just book an appointment.

I used to feel so embarrassed about having cavities, thinking it meant I had terrible hygiene, and kept wishing they would just heal. Please don't be hard on yourself, it happens to almost everyone. The best and kindest thing you can do for yourself is to see a dentist and get it resolved.

My grandmother used to suggest rinsing with warm salt water and using clove oil for tooth pain, which does help soothe the discomfort temporarily. However, the physical cavity itself will not heal without a proper filling. I highly recommend trusting a professional dentist for this.

Please try not to worry. While very early enamel wear can sometimes be managed with fluoride, a fully formed cavity does need a dentist's attention to heal. Wishing you a quick and painless visit to the clinic.

Since I have thyroid issues, I have to be very diligent with regular health checkups, including my dental visits. Cavities cannot heal without medical intervention. I always advise following up with your dentist regularly just like you would for any systemic health tracking.

Dekho, let's not beat around the bush. Cavities do not heal on their own, simple as that. If you ignore it now, it will only become a bigger, more expensive problem later. Be a sensible person and get it filled by a proper doctor.

With my PCOS, I already deal with systemic inflammation, so I am very cautious about dental health since gum issues and cavities can worsen things. From what my doctor told me, actual cavities don't heal on their own and require professional dental work. It's best to get it checked safely.

One should never take dental issues lightly because infections can quickly spread. Cavities do not heal on their own once they have breached the enamel. For your own safety and peace of mind, please visit a qualified dentist to get a proper diagnosis.

Honestly bro, they don't heal. I tried all sorts of special toothpaste and mouthwashes hoping the cavity would go away, but the pain just got worse. Had to finally go to the dentist last week and get it filled. Do yourself a favor and just go.
