Can cavities cause high blood pressure?

I've been diagnosed with high blood pressure recently, and I'm trying to figure out all the potential causes. I also have some dental issues, like cavities. Could there be a connection? Can cavities cause high blood pressure?

Hi! Chronic pain from a bad toothache can definitely raise your stress levels, which might temporarily bump up your blood pressure. 😬 It is always best to visit your dentist and get that cavity sorted out soon! 👍

If you are worried, first check your blood pressure at a local pharmacy, they usually do it for free or very cheap. Then visit a dental college hospital where cavity fillings are done at minimal rates. No need to spend heavily on premium clinics.

Haan na, if there is constant tooth pain and infection, the body gets stressed and BP can go up. When my tooth was hurting badly, even my BP reading was slightly high. Once the cavity was treated, everything became normal again.

As someone managing high blood pressure, I know that chronic dental infections and pain can cause inflammation and stress, which affects BP. Keep tracking your pressure, maintain a low-salt diet, and make sure to visit a dentist to resolve any dental issues.

Honestly, the constant throbbing pain of a cavity at 3 AM is enough to give anyone high blood pressure and zero sleep. Joking aside, chronic dental pain definitely stresses your body out. Do yourself a favor and get it fixed so you can sleep peacefully.
