Can cavities cause acne?

I've been dealing with a lot of acne lately, and I also know I have a couple of cavities that need filling. My friend jokingly said maybe my bad teeth are causing my skin issues. Can cavities actually cause acne?

Man, I am barely sleeping trying to manage my life, and now I have to worry if my cavities are causing my pimples? Honestly, there's no direct connection, but both dental pain and acne definitely ruin my sleep!

The body is fully connected, and any minor infection in the mouth can sometimes cause stress which affects our skin. Stay positive, drink lots of pure water, and take care of both your teeth and your skin with a calm mind.

My child, cavities do not directly cause acne on your face. However, bad digestion and toxins in the stomach can cause both. Try chewing on neem leaves and keeping your mouth clean with clove oil, but see a doctor if the acne is severe.

I am new here and a bit shy to ask, but is this really true? I have both cavities and breakouts right now on my jawline. Does anyone know if treating the cavity actually helped clear their skin?

I totally panicked when I had a bad breakout near my chin right when my tooth started hurting, thinking they were linked. My dentist laughed and said it was just a coincidence and stress-related. Don't worry, they are separate issues.

There is no direct link, but chronic inflammation from dental infections can stress your body, which might trigger skin issues. I always find that a clean diet, drinking water, and light jogging help keep my skin glowing and my body healthy.

While my health tracker shows my stress levels spike when I have tooth sensitivity, there is no direct clinical link between cavities and acne. Both are usually caused by different factors like diet and hormones. Best to visit a dentist for the teeth and a dermatologist for the skin.

I was researching this online and apparently, a deep dental infection can sometimes cause swelling or a skin fistula that looks like a pimple near the jaw. But normal cavities don't cause regular acne breakouts.
