Can cannabis treat cancer?

There's so much information, and misinformation, about alternative cancer treatments. My neighbour told me about someone who used cannabis to treat cancer. Is it true that cannabis can actually treat cancer, or is it just wishful thinking?

If cannabis could cure cancer, half of my college backbenchers would be immortal by now! Jokes aside, cancer is a serious beast. Don't rely on internet rumors, only real oncology doctors can guide you through the actual treatment.

Every day there's a new miracle plant on WhatsApp, yesterday it was giloy and today it is cannabis. If we start believing all this, we'll end up opening a nursery at home instead of getting real treatment. Trust the real doctors, brothers.

As someone who just finished chemotherapy last year, I can tell you there are no shortcuts to treating cancer. Cannabis might sometimes be discussed for chemo nausea, but it absolutely does not cure cancer. Stick strictly to your oncologist's advice.

In times of illness, keeping a calm mind and positive energy is very important for healing. But along with faith and positivity, we must also trust modern science. Please do not ignore proper medical treatment for cancer in search of alternative herbs.

When my uncle was diagnosed, we researched this extensively. Our oncologist clearly explained that while some countries use cannabis derivatives only to manage pain or chemotherapy side effects, it cannot treat or cure the actual cancer. Standard medical therapy is essential.

Managing any major health issue requires strict lifestyle discipline and regular doctor checkups. Trying self-prescribed remedies like cannabis can complicate things, especially if you have other issues like high blood pressure. Stick to proper hospital treatments.
