Can cannabis give you cancer?

With all the debates around cannabis, I hear so many different things. One thing that worries me is if it can give you cancer in the long run. What does the research say about this?

I totally panicked and spent nights googling this after a friend told me it's highly carcinogenic. But after speaking to a doctor, I realized that while smoking it carries risks of lung damage similar to tobacco, casual use doesn't automatically mean you get cancer. Just don't inhale toxic smoke regularly.

We see this question often here. The scientific consensus is that burning and inhaling cannabis releases tar and carcinogens, which can harm your respiratory tract over time. If you want to keep your lungs healthy, it is best to avoid smoking anything.

As parents, we worry so much about what our kids might be exposed to these days. The research shows that inhaling any kind of hot smoke repeatedly causes cell damage in the lungs, which can lead to serious issues later. It's always best to keep them away from these habits.

Taking fresh herbs like tulsi and ginger tea is great for keeping your lungs clear and healthy naturally. Smoking cannabis or anything else introduces harmful toxins into your chest, which is not good. If you are having any chest pain or chronic cough, please get it checked by a doctor right away.

I always tell guys at the gym that your lung capacity is key for your cardiovascular fitness. Smoking cannabis regularly deposits tar in your lungs, which definitely isn't good for your training or your long-term health risks. Better to keep your lungs clean.
