Can cancer transfer through blood?

A relative of mine was talking about how cancer cells can get into the bloodstream. It got me thinking if that means cancer can be transferred through blood transfusions or open wounds from one person to another. Is it possible for cancer to be transmitted that way?

I go for my regular checkups for high BP and they take my blood often. The doctors tell me that cancer is not like a viral infection; it cannot just transfer from one person to another if you touch their blood. Keep your lifestyle healthy and don't worry about this.

Do not believe those weird forwards saying you can catch cancer like a common cold. Scientifically, cancer cells cannot survive in another person's body because your own immune system will instantly attack and destroy them. Always verify these facts with a real doctor.

Actually yaar, it doesn't transfer like that at all. Cancer is not contagious, so even if you come in contact with someone's blood, you won't get it. Don't stress out over this, it's medically safe.

Cancer is a localized genetic issue within an individual's cells and is not an infectious disease that can transfer through blood contact. Focus on eating a wholesome, organic diet to keep your immunity strong, and stay relaxed.
