Can cancer make you tired all the time?

For months now, I've been feeling absolutely exhausted, no matter how much I sleep. I'm constantly tired, and it's impacting my work. I know fatigue can be a symptom of many things, but can cancer make you feel this tired all the time?

I know how frustrating it is to feel tired even after sleeping for 8 hours, it literally ruins your whole day. While fatigue is a known symptom of many things including cancer, it's also very common with simple vitamin deficiencies or thyroid. Don't worry too much, just get a basic checkup done.

Extreme fatigue is common, but first check if your daily diet is missing essential nutrients like B12 or iron, especially if you are purely vegetarian. Lack of these can make you feel completely drained. Get a full blood count done to check for anemia before assuming the worst.

Listen, don't let your mind jump straight to the worst case scenario. Constant fatigue can happen due to so many manageable reasons. Just take a deep breath, book an appointment with a family doctor, and let them guide you. We will figure it out.

During my recent treatment and recovery phase, the fatigue was unreal—like my body was made of lead. It's a very common side effect of how the body fights the illness. If you're going through this, rest as much as you can and let your medical team know.

When we went to Max Hospital for my relative's checkup, the specialists explained that cancer fatigue doesn't go away with just rest. It is best to ask your oncologist clearly about this so they can check your red blood cell levels and help you manage it.

Please don't make the mistake of ignoring constant tiredness by calling it 'work stress.' I ignored my fatigue for months until it became a bigger medical issue. If you are feeling weak daily, please go to a clinic and get evaluated properly.

As someone who deals with high BP, I know how fatigue can creep in when your body's vitals are off. Cancer-related fatigue is real, but so is tiredness from poor sleep and stress. Get your blood pressure and routine blood work checked by a doctor first.
