Can caffeine cause chest pain?

After having a strong cup of coffee, I sometimes feel a mild chest pain or tightness, almost like a pressure. It usually passes quickly, but it makes me a little anxious. Can caffeine be a cause for this kind of chest pain?

Caffeine can sometimes cause a racing heart which feels like chest discomfort, but any kind of chest pain is not something you should ignore. Just like I keep a strict track of my thyroid levels and visit my doctor regularly, you should get a proper heart checkup to find the real reason.

Oh god, chest pain is so terrifying. I once had a strong double-shot coffee and my chest started hurting and my heart was pounding so fast. I thought it was a heart attack, but it was just anxiety and acid reflux from the coffee. Still, please see a doctor immediately to be safe, don't take a risk.

I had chest tightness after taking pre-workout supplements loaded with caffeine. The doctor told me my blood pressure had spiked and warned me to stop. If you're having chest pain, stop the caffeine immediately and get your heart checked by a specialist.

If you are experiencing chest pain, do not waste time reading answers online. Even though caffeine can cause acid reflux or heart palpitations that feel like chest pain, it can also be a sign of a medical emergency. Go to a hospital and get an ECG done right away.

Excess caffeine can spike your heart rate and mimic chest pain, or it could be simple acidity. If your doctor rules out any serious heart issues, focus on a healthy routine with daily walking and clean eating to keep your fitness levels up.

My elders always say that drinking too much coffee creates gas which rises up and causes chest pain. While that can be true, chest pain is a serious matter. It is always wise to consult a medical professional immediately to ensure it is nothing serious.

I completely understand how scary it is to feel chest pain, it makes you panic instantly. Caffeine is a strong stimulant and can trigger physical anxiety symptoms, including tightness in the chest. Please get it checked by a cardiologist first so you can breathe easy knowing you are safe.
