Can bv cause vomiting?

Nauseous and vomited once today, along with having symptoms of BV, makes me wonder if these are related. I'm trying to figure out if these two are connected. Is vomiting a known symptom of BV?

I have been feeling so nauseous and actually threw up twice this morning, and I also have BV symptoms. Is this really common or should I be rushing to the hospital? Please let me know if anyone else faced this, I am so scared.

My girlfriend had BV a couple of months ago. She didn't vomit from the infection itself, but the metronidazole tablets the doctor gave her made her super sick and throw up. Once the doctor changed her meds, she was totally fine.

From what I've researched, basic BV shouldn't make you vomit. If you are throwing up, it might be due to a severe pelvic infection or just side effects from the strong antibiotics you are taking. Definitely call your doc.

Man, when I had to support my wife through her BV treatment, her appetite was totally gone because of the nausea from the meds. BV itself won't make you throw up, but those heavy pills will definitely keep you away from your favorite biryani for a few days!

No, BV on its own does not cause vomiting. If you're vomiting, you're either reacting to the medication prescribed for it, or you have a different infection. Stop searching online and go get a proper diagnosis from a physician.

Hey, don't panic. Vomiting is highly unlikely to be from the BV itself, so breathe easy. It is most likely just the strong antibiotic dose making your stomach sensitive. Just give your doctor a quick call and they will suggest something to manage the nausea.

My gynecologist explicitly told me that BV is a localized bacterial imbalance and doesn't cause systemic symptoms like vomiting. But she did warn that taking antibiotics on an empty stomach can trigger severe nausea and throwing up. Always take your meds after a meal.

Haan na, those BV medicines are so strong they completely mess up the stomach! I also felt like vomiting every time I took my pills. It is not the BV, but the treatment itself that does this usually, so eat some simple food and talk to your doc.
