Can bv cause fever?

BV symptoms for a few days have been present, and now I'm feeling a bit feverish, like my body temperature is slightly elevated. Is it possible for BV to cause a fever, or should I be looking for another reason?

Normally, simple BV does not cause a fever. If you have BV symptoms and have now developed a fever, it could mean the infection has spread to your uterus or fallopian tubes (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease). Please get it checked by a doctor immediately for your safety.

Usually, BV stays localized and doesn't cause a fever. But if a fever is showing up, that means your immune system is fighting a bigger battle, possibly PID. Skip the home advice and go straight to a doctor before things get more complicated.

While gentle pranayama can help calm the nervous system, a fever combined with pelvic infection symptoms is a clear sign of systemic inflammation that needs clinical attention. Please consult a qualified gynecologist immediately to address the root cause.

Hey, typically BV on its own doesn't cause a fever. If you actually have a fever along with it, it's a warning sign that the infection might have moved up. Please book an appointment with your gynecologist as soon as possible.

I totally get how scary it is to feel feverish when you already have an infection like BV. While basic BV doesn't usually cause fever, a fever means the body is dealing with a deeper infection. Please take care and see a doctor right away.

I recently had BV and my doctor told me specifically to watch out for fever. She said if I got a fever, it meant the infection was spreading and required immediate medical attention. Please don't wait, go to your doctor today.
