Can bv cause cramps and back pain?

Recurring BV and now also a lot of lower back pain and cramping have been bothering me, even when it's not my period. I'm wondering if these new symptoms could be related to the BV infection. Is this a common combination?

Yes, BV can sometimes cause pelvic cramps and lower back discomfort. I always prefer going to a reputed hospital to get things checked properly. Please ask your gynecologist clearly about your symptoms to rule out any spreading infection.

Yes, it can cause some cramping and lower back pain if the infection is irritating the pelvic area. Don't worry, but please don't ignore it. Go to a doctor and get the proper treatment before it spreads further.

My daughter faced this exact issue with bad pelvic cramps and back pain, and we found out it was BV. It is very uncomfortable, but a short course of antibiotics from the doctor cleared it up completely. Please take care and get it checked.

Haan, pelvic area mein infection ho toh cramps aur lower back pain hona normal hai. Par isko ignore mat karna na. Dr. ke paas ja kar checkup kara lo, standard antibiotics se theek ho jata hai.

BV can cause cramps, and as a diabetic, I know that any untreated infection can raise blood sugar levels due to stress on the body. Please don't try to self-treat. Get a proper diagnosis and treatment from your doctor.

Agreed, pelvic irritation from BV can definitely radiate to the lower back. Please consult a gynecologist for a proper prescription.
