Can bronchitis cause nausea and vomiting?

Down with bronchitis and a terrible cough, I've also been feeling quite nauseous and actually vomited once. I wanted to know if nausea and vomiting are common with bronchitis or if it's something else.

Bro, yes. Last year I had this crazy bronchitis cough, and every time I coughed continuously for 2 minutes, I ended up gagging and throwing up. The physical strain is real, but if you're constantly nauseous, definitely get it checked.

Dude, totally. Swallowing all that gross phlegm makes your stomach super acidic and nauseous. Try to spit it out instead of swallowing, and maybe ask a doc for an antacid.

When the respiratory system is highly congested, the nervous system gets disturbed, leading to nausea. Taking very gentle, slow breaths and sipping warm ginger water can soothe both your throat and your stomach.

Look, simple logic—severe coughing triggers your gag reflex, which makes you vomit. But if you have constant nausea even when not coughing, it could be your medications or a gastric issue. Go see a doctor and get proper pills.

I completely panicked when I threw up during a bronchitis phase thinking it was some major issue. My doctor reassured me that severe coughing fits naturally cause vomiting. Just focus on resting and clearing the mucus.

I didn't know bronchitis could affect the stomach too. I have been feeling very sick in my stomach along with a heavy cough. Is this normal or should I go to the hospital?
