Can bronchitis cause diarrhea and vomiting?

For a few days, I've had bronchitis with a bad cough. But since yesterday, I've also developed diarrhea and some vomiting. I'm not sure if these stomach issues can be related to the bronchitis.

Hey, don't worry. Sometimes the continuous hard coughing from bronchitis can pressure your stomach and cause vomiting, and the swallowed mucus can upset your tummy too. But if you have severe diarrhea and can't keep liquids down, please see a doctor so you don't get dehydrated.

Oh god, this sounds so exhausting. I always panic when multiple symptoms happen together. It could be a viral infection affecting both your lungs and gut. Please consult a doctor immediately before you get too weak!

That sounds rough. If you are vomiting and have diarrhea, you'll lose fluids fast, so hold off on any physical exertion or workouts. Just rest, sip ORS, and let your doctor check if it's a systemic viral issue.

My grandmother always says that swallowing phlegm during severe coughs can upset the stomach. But diarrhea and vomiting together with chest congestion could be a dual viral infection. Better to consult your doctor for proper treatment.

Don't delay treating this. Managing chest congestion along with dehydration from stomach issues will make you unfit for work very fast. Get a doctor's consultation today to get specific medications for both.

Honestly, coughing so hard that you puke is the worst, happened to me during college exams last semester. But if you're getting loose motions too, it might be a stomach flu along with it. Pls check with a doc!
