Can bronchiolitis cause asthma?

My baby had bronchiolitis when he was just a few months old. My neighbour was telling me that babies who get it often develop asthma later; is there a connection between the two?

While diet doesn't directly cure infections, keeping a warm, light vegetarian diet helps the body recover. As for asthma, children who get severe bronchiolitis early in life can sometimes develop wheezing later, so please keep a close check with a pediatrician.

My nephew had severe bronchiolitis when he was a baby, and he did have some wheezing issues for a couple of years. But the doctor said it's not always permanent asthma. He is totally fine now, so don't stress too much!

Chote bacchon ko thand jaldi lag jati hai aur saas lene mein takleef hoti hai. Har bar asthma nahi hota beta. Tum acche se bache ko garam kapde pehnao aur acche doctor ko dikha lo, sab theek ho jayega.

Not necessarily! Most babies recover completely and never face breathing issues again. 😊 Just keep the air around them clean and follow your pediatrician's advice!

Haan, thoda risk toh rehta hai, but har case mein asthma nahi banta na. Doctor se check-up karate raho aur ghar pe dust mat hone do bilkul bhi. Chinta mat karo, bache jaldi recover ho jate hain.

My baby was just diagnosed with bronchiolitis and I am so scared about the long-term effects. Does this mean they will definitely have breathing trouble when they grow up? Please help.
