Can brittle diabetes be reversed?

My father has brittle diabetes, and managing his sugar levels is very challenging. We are always looking for solutions, so I wanted to ask if this type of diabetes can ever be reversed completely.

Reversing brittle diabetes fully is very tough because of the extreme blood sugar swings. I use a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) app to track my spikes in real-time, which helps a lot. Definitely sync up with an endocrinologist to manage this better.

Hey, don't stress too much about the term 'brittle'. It just means your sugar is hard to manage right now. With the right doctor and some lifestyle changes, you can get it under control. Take it one day at a time, buddy.

I have been managing diabetes for years, and brittle diabetes is quite complex and risky. Please don't try self-treating or cutting carbs drastically on your own. It requires very precise insulin and diet adjustment under a specialist's supervision.

Severe blood sugar fluctuations need systematic medical care, just like managing thyroid. You can't rely on hit-and-trial. Please get regular HbA1c tests done and follow up with your doctor strictly to prevent complications.

My uncle had this, and while 'reversal' might not be the right word, you can definitely stabilize it. The key is extreme consistency in meal timings and maintaining a stress-free routine. Work closely with a good diabetologist; it is totally manageable.
