Can breast biopsy markers cause pain years later?

A few years ago, I had a breast biopsy and they inserted a tiny marker. Now I'm experiencing some pain in that area. I want to know if these markers can cause pain even years later.

Honestly, even I keep thinking about these things and over-analyzing every small ache. From what I know, those tiny clips are supposed to be safe, but any random pain can make you worry so much. Please don't stress too much tonight, but definitely get an ultrasound done just to put your mind at ease.

Please do not ignore this or wait around. I once kept delaying a doctor visit for a minor chest discomfort thinking it was nothing, and it turned into a huge mess later. Even if the biopsy marker is supposed to be harmless, go get a professional checkup done right away.

I had a very tough time after my biopsy because of a small infection that dragged on for months. Pain years later is not something you should take lightly, as there could be some nerve irritation or fluid collection around the area. Pls see your doctor soon to get a clear picture.

Whenever my family has any health queries, we always consult the specialists at Max Hospital. These clips are usually made of titanium and don't cause issues, but pain shouldn't be ignored. Go to a good hospital, get a proper scan, and let your doctor clearly tell you what is causing the discomfort.

At my age, managing high BP has taught me that we need to keep a close eye on any body changes and do regular checkups. Sometimes stress also aggravates physical pain, so try to keep your routine calm. But do schedule an appointment with your doctor to make sure everything is fine inside.
