Can bowel movement cause vomiting?

Man, my sleep cycle is already a mess, and then having your stomach act up from both ends at 3 AM is just cruel. Yes, sometimes pushing too hard or having major cramps can stimulate the vagus nerve and make you vomit. Truly a lovely midnight experience.
