Can borderline high cholesterol cause heart attack?

I recently had a health check-up, and my cholesterol levels were reported as borderline high. My doctor advised me to make lifestyle changes. I'm worried, can borderline high cholesterol still cause a heart attack?

Borderline levels are basically a warning light from your body. It won't cause a sudden heart attack on its own, but if you ignore it for years, plaque can build up. It's the perfect time to make lifestyle changes before needing medication.

No need to panic, borderline high cholesterol is very manageable. The simplest solution is to cut down on deep-fried snacks, switch to refined oil in moderation, and walk for 30 minutes daily. It brings the levels down easily.

My doctor caught my borderline cholesterol last year and warned me. I ignored it, and my levels shot up, causing mild chest pressure. I luckily recovered after starting medications and changing my diet. Please take borderline warnings seriously.

In our days, we controlled these things with regular walks and eating raw garlic in the morning, which is good for the heart. Borderline high means you just need to be disciplined. Don't worry, but do consult your family doctor once.

I got my lipid profile back and cried thinking I was going to get a heart attack at 30! My doctor reassured me that borderline high is totally reversible with basic dietary changes. I cut out junk food and my next report was completely normal.

Yes, it increases long-term risk but won't cause an immediate attack. Cutting out refined sugar and walking daily works wonders to bring it down.
