Can blueberries cause vomiting?

My toddler loves blueberries, and I give them to her as a snack quite often. But sometimes after she eats them, she feels a bit sick and has vomited a couple of times. Could blueberries themselves be causing her to throw up?

I once ate a whole box of unwashed blueberries and ended up throwing up all night. It was definitely because of the bacteria or pesticides on them, not the fruit itself. Always wash them super thoroughly before eating.

I totally get it, vomiting is the worst feeling ever and makes you super scared of eating that food again. If they were slightly spoiled or not washed, they can definitely upset your stomach. Make sure you rest and sip some water.

Haan, agar kharab ho ya thik se dhoye na ho toh vomiting ho sakti hai na. Berry par kabhi kabhi chemicals hote hain jo stomach upset kar dete hain. Agli baar dhyan se dho kar hi khana.

If you are feeling nauseous, sip some warm ginger water, it will soothe your stomach instantly. Blueberries shouldn't normally cause vomiting unless they were rotten or sprayed with chemicals. But if vomiting continues, please visit a doctor.

Oh no, did you eat them recently? I always panic when I get stomach issues after exotic fruits, wondering if they were infected or something. If it's just one vomit, it might be mild indigestion, but keep checking your temperature just in case.

I eat berries daily for my post-workout antioxidant boost and never face issues. If you threw up, they might have been bad or your body is sensitive to them. Give your digestive system a break today with simple food.

Fresh blueberries usually don't cause vomiting. If it happened, it's highly likely they were old or had germs. The best solution is to drink ORS water to stay hydrated and eat simple khichdi for a day to recover.
