Thinking about kidney issues makes me want to put down my spicy chaat and drink a gallon of water! But seriously, an untreated bladder infection can spread to the kidneys and cause permanent damage if ignored. Please see a doctor and get it sorted out quickly.

Yes, if you let a bladder infection go untreated, it can travel up to your kidneys and cause serious damage. While staying active and hydrated is great for your overall health, you need proper medical treatment to clear an infection. Go see a doctor before starting any light exercise.

My roommate once ignored a bad UTI and ended up with a severe kidney infection, which was super scary and put him in the hospital. If you don't treat a bladder infection, it can definitely mess up your kidneys, so don't be lazy and go see a doctor.

In my younger days, we saw people neglecting simple urinary issues until they became life-threatening. Yes, a severe, untreated bladder infection can damage the kidneys over time. Please be wise, do not delay, and consult a medical doctor at the earliest.

As a diabetic, I am always warned that high sugar levels can make urinary infections worse, increasing the risk of kidney damage. If you have diabetes and a bladder infection, you must monitor your blood sugar and get proper medical treatment immediately to protect your kidneys.

Yes, a bladder infection can ascend to the kidneys, causing pyelonephritis, which can lead to permanent kidney damage or failure if left untreated. It is very easy to treat with the right antibiotics early on. Please don't ignore persistent burning or back pain, and see a doctor.

Oh god, I always overthink every little burning sensation and worry my kidneys are going to fail! While it is rare for a simple infection to cause full kidney failure, it can happen if it is completely ignored. Please get a simple urine test done to ease your mind and see a doctor.
