Can birth control shot cause cancer?

I've been using the birth control shot for a while, and my neighbour recently said she read something online linking it to cancer. Is there any truth to this claim? I'm feeling quite scared after hearing that.

I completely panicked about this before getting my first shot and spent hours on Google. But my doctor explained that while there is a very tiny, temporary risk of breast cancer, the shot actually reduces the risk of uterine and ovarian cancers. It made me feel so much better.

Haan, log internet par kuch bhi likh dete hain, darna mat. The actual risk is extremely low for most people. Clear everything with your doctor, na, directly instead of worrying.

Don't worry too much! The modern contraceptive shots are very thoroughly tested. Just discuss your health history with a gynac and you will be completely fine! ✨

Keep your body healthy by eating fresh, home-cooked food and avoiding stress. But for serious medical questions like cancer risks with hormone shots, please go consult a qualified specialist directly.

I used to ignore routine checkups and ended up having health issues later. Even if the shot's risk is very low, make sure you get regular health screenings and physical exams done. Don't take your health for granted.
