Can be the result of prolonged vomiting or diarrhea?

Been quite unwell recently with prolonged vomiting and diarrhea, and I'm feeling very weak now. What kind of health issues or complications can result from being sick like this for a long time?

If you've been running to the washroom non-stop, you are definitely going to feel like a squeezed-out lemon! Yes, severe weakness, cramps, and dizziness are classic results of losing all your water. Drink up some ORS and give your stomach a break!

Prolonged vomiting or diarrhea completely flushes out your body's essential electrolytes like sodium and potassium, causing extreme muscle fatigue and dehydration. Skip the gym for a few days, focus on sipping coconut water, and let your body recover before you lift again.

Yes, severe dehydration and electrolyte imbalance happen quickly after this. Please drink ORS and see a doctor if you can't keep liquids down.

Frequent vomiting and loose motions will definitely cause severe weakness and low BP. A very simple and cheap solution is to keep sipping ORS water or light salt-sugar water throughout the day. Do not eat heavy food, just stick to plain khichdi or curd rice.

Yes, feeling super tired, dizzy, or having dry lips is totally expected after vomiting or loose stomach! 💧 Make sure you sip on coconut water or electral to recharge your body. Get lots of rest! 😊

Hey, don't stress too much, this extreme exhaustion is just your body losing fluids from all that vomiting and diarrhea. It's totally normal to feel completely drained out. Just rest up, keep sipping electrolytes, and if you still feel terrible tomorrow, we will go visit a doctor together.
