Can basal cell skin cancer kill you?

Saw something online about basal cell skin cancer, and it made me quite scared. Always thought it wasn't very dangerous. Can basal cell skin cancer actually be fatal or cause death?

Chill, it's not going to take you to heaven anytime soon! Basal cell is like that annoying relative who refuses to leave but is mostly harmless if you show them the door. Just get it removed by a doctor and you can go back to complaining about daily traffic.

I am no doctor, but my uncle had a basal cell patch on his nose a few years back. The doctors just did a minor surgical procedure to remove it in the OPD, and he has been completely fine ever since. It was very straightforward.

Honestly, when I first heard about skin cancer, I panicked so bad. But BCC is actually very slow-growing and very rarely spreads to other parts or becomes life-threatening. Just get it treated early so it doesn't cause damage to the surrounding skin.

No, it's highly unlikely to kill you because BCC rarely metastasizes. But that doesn't mean you ignore it and let it grow on your face. Go to a good dermatologist, get it diagnosed, and have it removed immediately.

Please do not ignore any skin changes. I once ignored a small, weird patch on my skin thinking it was just dry skin, and it turned out to be a major headache to treat later. Even if BCC is not usually fatal, delay only makes the surgery bigger and leaves worse scars, so go to a doctor now.

For general skin health, drinking green tea and using fresh aloe vera gel ghar pe is great. But when it comes to any suspected cancer like BCC, home remedies won't work at all. You must consult an oncologist or skin specialist for proper medical removal.

As someone managing diabetes, I know how slow our skin heals, which makes any skin issue extra risky. While BCC itself is rarely fatal, any wound can get complicated if you have other health issues like high sugar. Do get it checked by a proper physician.
