Can back pain cause stomach pain?

I've been experiencing lower back pain along with discomfort in my stomach area. I thought it might be indigestion at first, but now I'm wondering if my back issue could be causing the stomach pain. Can back problems lead to stomach pain?

I had this combination last month. It turned out that a lower back spasm was radiating pain to my lower abdomen. Doing gentle pelvic tilts and using a heating pad on my back actually cured the stomach discomfort too.

In my years, I've noticed that severe bloating and gastric trouble often pressure the lower back, causing both to hurt. Eating a light, home-cooked diet and drinking warm fennel water helps. But do check with a doctor if the pain is sharp.

At 50, my back and my stomach are constantly fighting each other! A bad posture-induced backache can definitely trigger some weird stomach cramping. Keep an antacid ready, but if the pain is severe, go see a doctor.

Yes, because the nerves in the lower spine travel to the abdominal area, back pain can feel like stomach pain. Take some rest, drink plenty of water, and consult a doctor if it doesn't get better.

Hey, please don't worry too much, but pay close attention to this. Back and stomach pain together can sometimes indicate kidney stones or a bladder issue. Please drink lots of fluids and see a doctor to get it properly checked out.

Yes, lower back nerve issues can refer pain to the stomach area. However, it can also be gas or kidney stones. Since we have busy routines, don't waste time guessing; get a quick ultrasound or consult a physician to know for sure.
