Can autoimmune hepatitis be cured?

My cousin was diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis a few years ago, and he's been on medication since then. We are always hoping for a complete recovery. Is it possible for autoimmune hepatitis to be completely cured?

I completely understand the emotional toll of hearing this diagnosis, as I felt so lost and cried for weeks. While doctors say there is no permanent cure, it can be managed incredibly well with medications to the point where you live a totally normal life. Please hang in there.

While medical science says it has no complete cure, you can keep it in remission with the right care and a peaceful mind. Stay positive, eat clean, and trust the journey. God has given us the strength to manage these health challenges beautifully.

Be very careful about anyone selling 'ayurvedic cures' or herbal detoxes for autoimmune hepatitis online—they can severely damage your liver. It is a chronic condition that has no cure but can be managed safely with modern medicine. Always consult a certified hepatologist.

Please take this very seriously and do not ignore it. My relative had severe complications and liver scarring because they stopped their immunosuppressants thinking they were cured. You must stay under a hepatologist's strict care and never skip medications.

Hey, don't stress too much! Even though there's no magic cure, the treatments they have nowadays are amazing at keeping it fully under control. Just take your meds on time, eat healthy, and you'll do absolutely fine, buddy!

Let's be clear: autoimmune hepatitis cannot be 'cured' in the traditional sense, but you can achieve complete remission with steroids or immunosuppressants. Just find a top-tier gastroenterologist, follow their protocol strictly, and keep tracking your liver function tests.

Beta, autoimmune hepatitis needs proper English medicine from a big specialist doctor. Do not try heavy home remedies or random herbs as they can burden the liver. Just eat simple, boiled, home-cooked food and rest well alongside your medical treatment.

My father was just diagnosed with this yesterday, and our family is very scared. If it can't be fully cured, does it mean he will have to take medicines for the rest of his life? I would really appreciate if anyone could share their experience.
