Can asthma go away with exercise?

My doctor recommended I exercise regularly to help manage my asthma, and I've been trying. I'm hoping it might even make it disappear completely. Can asthma actually go away with consistent exercise?

Bro, exercise doesn't cure asthma or make it go away. I workout regularly and while my stamina has improved, I still need my inhaler sometimes. Definitely ask your doc before starting any heavy workouts.

My elders at home suggested that daily walking and yoga would completely cure my asthma, but my doctor cleared up that myth. While exercise builds lung capacity, it cannot cure the disease. Always listen to your doctor first.

Exercise is great for your overall health, but please don't think it is a magic cure for asthma. In fact, intense exercise can sometimes trigger an attack if you aren't careful. Take it slow, keep your inhaler close, and let a doctor guide you.

I tried jogging to improve my lung capacity but got so breathless and panicked. Does anyone else feel like exercise makes their asthma worse instead of better? I'm honestly too scared to try working out again without talking to my doc.

While exercise won't make asthma go away permanently, doing light cardio or walking can definitely strengthen your lungs. Just make sure your doctor clears you for physical activity first so you don't accidentally trigger a flare-up.

Staying active and positive is wonderful for the body, but everything must be done in moderation. Gentle movements like pranayama can help calm your mind and lungs, but do not ignore medical science. Take care and consult your doctor.

I always overthink this and worry that any extra physical effort will trigger my breathing issues. Even though some people say exercise helps, it makes me really nervous. I think it is best to get a personalized plan from your doctor before trying anything.

I thought I could sweat out my breathing issues by running every morning, but I ended up in the emergency room with a severe attack. Do not ignore your symptoms like I did. Go get a proper checkup and let the doctor advise you.
