Can asthma come back?

I had asthma as a child, and it seemed to disappear completely during my teenage years. Now, in my late twenties, I'm starting to have symptoms again. Can asthma really come back after being gone for so long?

Yes, asthma can absolutely recur even after years of being dormant. It often comes back due to environmental triggers, stress, or post-viral complications. Instead of guessing, it is best to visit a pulmonologist and get a spirometry test done to see how your lungs are doing.

Haan bhai, bilkul wapas aa sakta hai. Mere padosi ko bachpan mein tha, phir theek ho gaya, aur ab 40 ki umar mein phir se khansi aur saans ki takleef shuru ho gayi. Aap thoda dhyan rakho, thand se bacho aur doctor babu ko dikha lo ek baar.

Yes, it can definitely come back after a long gap. Mine returned after 5 years, so keeping an emergency inhaler with you is always a good idea.

Yes, it can. I had no symptoms for almost ten years and then suddenly it triggered again last monsoon because of the high humidity. If you are starting to wheeze again, don't waste time waiting for it to go away. Get an appointment with a doctor and keep a rescue inhaler handy.

Our bodies change with time, and sometimes old ailments can resurface when our energy and immunity go down. Don't worry, just stay positive and take deep breaths. Take good care of your health, eat simple foods, and let a doctor guide you on the right path.

Oh yes, it can make a surprise comeback! 😅 I thought I was done with asthma in high school, but dust allergy brought it right back in my late twenties. Just get a quick checkup done, keep your inhaler close, and you will be absolutely fine! 👍

It can come back, especially if your immunity drops or if you are exposed to extreme dust and pollution. While you must consult a doctor for this, try avoiding very cold foods or heavy dairy late at night as they can sometimes trigger excess mucus.
