Can asthma cause lung nodules?

My recent chest X-ray showed some small nodules in my lungs, and I have had asthma since childhood. The doctors are investigating, but I'm quite anxious. Can asthma cause lung nodules, or is this a completely different issue?

Hey bro, don't stress too much about this. Lung nodules are super common and usually just tiny marks from old inflammation or infections, not necessarily anything bad. Just show the scan to your pulmonologist to be sure.

I totally get it, seeing anything about 'nodules' on a scan report is incredibly scary and stressful. But lung inflammation or past respiratory infections from asthma can sometimes leave behind tiny benign scars or nodules, so try to breathe easy.

My doctor found a small nodule on my X-ray during an asthma checkup last week and I haven't slept since then. Has anyone else gone through this? Is it really just from chronic asthma inflammation or should I get a biopsy done?

I panicked so hard when my cousin’s chest CT showed a tiny nodule after a bad asthma phase. The doctor literally laughed and said it's just from previous inflammation and totally harmless. Don't worry!

Yes, chronic lung inflammation from asthma can sometimes cause tiny benign nodules. Just consult your doctor to keep track of them.

Instead of sitting at home and guessing, just take your reports to a government hospital chest specialist. They see hundreds of these cases daily and will give you a clear, honest opinion without charging huge fees.
