Can arthritis make you itch?

Mujhe psoriatic arthritis hai aur pichle kuch samay se meri skin mein bahut itching (khujli) hoti hai, bina kisi rash ke. Kya arthritis ki wajah se khujli bhi ho sakti hai?

Actually, arthritis itself doesn't directly cause itching, but sometimes the medications prescribed for it can cause skin reactions. When I had thyroid-related skin issues, my doctor got some blood tests done to see what was happening. Please consult your doctor to see if it's a side effect of any medicine.

Hey! Usually arthritis and itching don't go hand in hand. But sometimes dry skin or a mild allergy might be the culprit. Try keeping your skin moisturized and if it still persists, just have a quick chat with your doc! 😊

Beta, arthritis mostly causes joint pain and stiffness, not itching. If you are experiencing skin irritation, you can try applying some pure coconut oil ghar pe to soothe the skin. But if there is a rash, please show it to a proper doctor immediately.

In all my years dealing with joint pain, I have never felt itching directly from arthritis. It could be due to seasonal changes or some other minor issue. Don't worry too much, just keep yourself hydrated and mention it to your specialist during your next visit.

Sometimes when the body is stressed, it reacts in unexpected ways. While arthritis primarily affects the joints, itching might just be a sign of dry skin or temporary toxin release. Keep your mind calm, drink warm water, and seek medical advice to ease your doubts.
