Can arthritis cause swelling in feet?

Mujhe arthritis hai aur pichle kuch dino se mere pairon mein sujhan (swelling) bahut zyada ho gayi hai, khaaskar ankles ke paas. Kya yeh arthritis ki wajah se ho sakta hai, ya koi aur dikkat hai?

Don't fall for home remedies or online advice for swollen feet, as it can be a sign of kidney or heart issues, not just arthritis. You need a proper doctor to do blood tests and verify the actual cause of the swelling before you start any treatment.

Yes, arthritis can cause foot swelling, but please get it checked. I ignored my swollen ankles thinking it was just my arthritis, but it turned out to be severe fluid retention due to a medication complication. A doctor's checkup is absolutely necessary.

If your doctor allows it, gentle walking can actually improve circulation and help reduce the swelling in your feet. When we sit for too long, fluid pools in the lower limbs. Keep moving slowly and avoid standing in one spot for too long.

Swelling in the feet is common if arthritis is causing inflammation in the ankle or toe joints. Keeping a clean, low-sodium diet helps a lot in reducing water retention. If the joint stability is fine, simple calf raises can also help pump that fluid back up.

Yes, it can turn your feet into little balloons! 🎈 Elevating them on a cushion while watching TV works like magic for me. Stay positive and give your feet some nice rest today!

Hey, don't stress too much! Feet swelling is super common when arthritis affects the small joints down there. Try keeping your feet elevated on a couple of pillows when you lie down, it really helps to reduce the puffiness.

I face fluid retention issues due to my PCOS, and I know how uncomfortable swelling can be. If you have arthritis, the joint inflammation can definitely cause foot swelling. Just be cautious and consult your specialist to manage it safely.

Beta, in our days we used to soak swollen feet in warm water mixed with rock salt for 15 minutes, which helps soothe the joints. Arthritis in the feet can be painful, but do show a doctor to ensure your uric acid levels are also normal.
