Can arthritis cause nerve pain?

Mujhe degenerative arthritis hai aur ab mere haath aur pairon mein jhanjhanahat aur chubhan jaisa dard hone laga hai. Yeh normal arthritis pain se alag lag raha hai. Kya arthritis ki wajah se nerve pain ho sakta hai?

Honestly, the burning nerve pain from my neck arthritis kept me awake till 4 AM last night. Yes, it absolutely can cause nerve pain when those swollen joints decide to pinch a nerve. Currently surviving on black coffee and hope today.

Nerve pain from arthritis is highly disruptive for work. If you are experiencing tingling or shooting pain, don't waste time trying random remedies; book an appointment with a neurologist or orthopedist directly. Getting an MRI done quickly will save you weeks of trial and error.

I have dealt with this for five years, especially in my lower back where arthritis pinches the sciatic nerve. My tip is to focus on core strengthening exercises under a physio and never sit continuously for more than 45 minutes. It takes time, but you can definitely manage it.

When joint swelling pinches a nerve, it causes that sharp, shooting pain. If the doctor advises an MRI to check the nerve, it can cost 5,000 to 7,000 rupees. Try to find government-run diagnostics or charitable hospitals where you can get it done at half the price.

I was diagnosed with mild arthritis recently, and lately, I am feeling a weird tingling sensation in my fingers. Can that also be because of the nerve being affected by arthritis? Should I mention this to my doctor in the next visit?

Haan na, it definitely can cause that shooting, electric-like nerve pain if the bone spurs rub against the nerves. Mere uncle ko hand me bohot tingling hoti thi neck arthritis ki wajah se. You should consult a specialist soon, ho na.

My teenager was experiencing sharp shooting pains alongside joint swelling, and the doctor confirmed it was nerve irritation from joint inflammation. As a mother, I suggest ensuring they don't carry heavy bags and get proper orthopedic support early on to prevent long-term nerve issues.
