Can arthritis cause muscle aches?

Mujhe ghutno aur kamar mein arthritis hai. Pichle kuch din se meri muscles mein bhi dard aur akadan rehti hai, jaisa poore body mein pain ho. Kya arthritis ki wajah se muscle aches ho sakte hain?

Yes, it can, but please be careful. I ignored my muscle aches thinking it was just from my arthritis, but it turned out to be a severe reaction to my medication that affected my muscles. Please consult your doctor if the muscle pain is persistent or spreading.

I have been having such bad aches in my thighs and calves along with my knee arthritis lately. Does anyone else get this too, or is it just me? It makes me really anxious that something else might be wrong with my body.

Arthritis forces other muscles to work harder, which causes aches. If you go to a doctor, they might ask for Vitamin D3 and B12 tests which can cost around 1500 rupees. I suggest looking for package deals online at verified labs to save some money before you visit the clinic.

With a 9-to-5 desk job and arthritis, muscle aches are almost a daily struggle due to poor posture. Honestly, sitting in an ergonomic chair and taking brief walks every hour is the only realistic way to manage this. Don't let it build up or you'll need physiotherapy.

When joints hurt, our surrounding muscles tighten up to protect them, causing aches. I have found great relief by doing very gentle stretching and Sukshma Vyayama (light yogic movements) every morning. It helps release the tension in muscles safely.
