Can arthritis cause a fever?

Mujhe rheumatoid arthritis hai aur pichle kuch dino se halka bukhar (fever) bhi reh raha hai, khaaskar shaam ko. Kya arthritis ki wajah se bukhar aa sakta hai, ya yeh koi aur problem hai?

Honestly, a mild warm compress and drinking ginger-haldi tea can help with joint pain, but if you are getting an actual fever, please don't ignore it. Fever usually means there is some serious inflammation or infection going on. It is best to see a doctor immediately rather than trying home remedies for this.

I had this exact same issue last month where my joint pain came with a low-grade fever. My rheumatologist told me that certain types of arthritis, like rheumatoid arthritis, actually affect the whole body and can cause a fever during flare-ups. I got some specific meds prescribed and the fever went away in a few days.

I have been managing diabetes for years and we always have to be careful with infections causing fever. If you have arthritis and suddenly get a fever, check your blood sugar if you are diabetic, because infections make sugar shoot up. Definitely get a doctor to check this combination, don't self-medicate.

Haan na, it actually can happen if it is rheumatoid arthritis, my aunt had the same thing. Par fever high ho toh tension hota hai, so please doctor ko dikha lo ek baar. Normal body pain is fine but fever means body is fighting something inside, ho na?

If you need to see a doctor for this, plan your tests wisely. A complete blood count (CBC) and CRP test are usually needed for fever and joint pain, which might cost around 800 to 1200 rupees at local labs. Ask the doctor to write down all necessary tests together so you don't have to pay registration fees twice.

Hey, don't stress too much, but please take this seriously. Yes, inflammatory arthritis can sometimes cause a mild fever, but we should never take fevers lightly. Just book an appointment with your doctor tomorrow morning and get a proper blood test done. Take care of yourself, okay?

Actually yaar, inflammatory arthritis can totally cause a low fever during a bad flare. But if the fever is high or you have chills, then it might be some other infection. Better to consult your doc quickly instead of guessing online, seriously.
