Can anybody have a heart attack?

I've always thought heart attacks happen mostly to older people or those with existing conditions. However, recently, a young, healthy colleague had one. It makes me wonder, can anybody, regardless of age or fitness, have a heart attack?

In my long life, I have seen that health issues do not look at age or status before knocking. While anyone can face heart issues due to lifestyle or genes, there is no need to live in fear. Focus on eating fresh, staying active, and letting the doctor do yearly checkups to keep everything safe.

Given our stressful work routines and poor eating habits, cardiovascular issues are unfortunately becoming common across all age groups. It is best to be proactive. Instead of worrying, schedule a basic annual health package including an ECG and cholesterol test to keep track of your health.

Haha, with our zero-sleep schedules and daily double-shot espressos, our hearts are definitely working double shifts! But seriously, yes, anyone can face heart issues if they don't take care. If you are ever feeling actual chest pain or severe breathlessness, please drop everything and go to a doctor.

Yes, technically anyone can have a cardiac event depending on various risk factors like genetics, BP, or stress. Because heart health is not something you can guess, please get a proper medical checkup done. If you are experiencing any acute chest pain, go straight to the nearest hospital.

While it's true that risk factors vary, heart issues can affect anyone if lifestyle, stress, and genetics align poorly. I use my smartwatch to monitor my resting heart rate and step count daily, which helps me stay on track. But for real safety, nothing replaces regular medical tests and consulting a cardiologist.

Please be very careful about heart health. I used to think young, active people don't get heart attacks, but after a family member faced a sudden cardiac complication, I realized how unpredictable it can be. If you experience severe chest discomfort, sweating, or left arm pain, please seek emergency medical help immediately.
