Can anxiety cause vomiting in the morning?

Since the last few weeks, I've been feeling so uneasy every morning, sometimes even vomiting. My job has been very stressful lately, and I'm wondering if this nausea is related to anxiety. It actually feels like morning sickness, but I'm not pregnant.

Oh god, this happens to me so much and then I start worrying if it is something dangerous, which makes the vomiting even worse! It is like a horrible cycle. Please try to sip some warm water in the morning and see. If it keeps happening, definitely consult a doc so u don't keep stressing about it.

Honestly, anxiety does weird things to our hormones and stomach. I have PCOS and whenever my stress levels go up, my digestion gets completely ruined. Morning nausea is real, but please don't just blame anxiety right away. It's always safer to talk to a doctor to check what else might be going on.

Yes, absolutely! I went through this exact same thing last month before my big project launch. Every morning I would wake up with extreme nausea and actually threw up a few times. Once I started doing some breathing exercises and got my stress under control, it stopped. It is a very real physical reaction to stress.

Our mind and gut are deeply connected, dear friend. When the mind is restless, the stomach feels the heat first thing in the morning. Try to sit quietly for five minutes after waking up and drink some warm water. Keep a positive outlook, take care of your health, and everything will be fine.

Haan beta, bilkul ho sakta hai.

While stress can trigger morning nausea, it is best not to self-diagnose. I always prefer visiting a proper specialist to rule out acid reflux or other stomach issues. Go to a good hospital, explain all your symptoms to a doctor clearly, and get a proper clinical opinion instead of guessing.
